THE FLOOR SHOW Carolina Cerisola & Sascha Escandon present a premiere L.A based show
(Hollywood, CA) September 14, 2009…Carolina Cerisola, headliner of former Hollywood Burlesque hot-spot, Forty-Deuce and soloist of Superstars of Dance, who’s unique talent and dance style prompted many acclaimed artists like Prince, Sting, Justin Timberlake, Heath Ledger, Fionna Apple and Daniel Lanois to collaborate with her on an array of artistic projects now co-presents THE FLOOR SHOW with partner Sascha Escandon. Sascha Escandon, is an L.A native and dancer with training from the Joffrey Ballet assistant to choreographer, Marguerite Derricks (Austin Powers) has worked 5 years in Post Production in reality television at its prime, on the hit shows The Osbournes, Newlyweds and more.
Carolina and Sascha are now presenting THE FLOOR SHOW, a live music event that spotlights incredible local musicians, highlighted by dance vignettes of amazing acrobatic and talented dancers. The SHOW is inspired by their successful monthly Monday night FLOOR IMPROV NIGHT, where these musicians and dancer of all genres come to collaborate and jam with one another, all live and in the moment. Along with the amazing local talent, other special guests that have come to “jam” are Baz Luhrman, Daniel Lanois, Kenna, Adam Levine (Maroon 5), Warren Sapp, Wil-Dog (Ozomatli), John Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Jennifer Nairn-Smith (All That Jazz), dancers and choreographers from So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, America’s Best Dance Crew, America’s Got Talent and the Groovaloos, Chiwetel Ejiofer (American Gangster), Harold Parrineau Jr. (Lost), Topher Grace and Andre Royo (Wire).
The FLOOR SHOW premiere is Tuesday October 13th. Remaining show dates are October 20, 27 and November 3 at the King King Hollywood. Doors open at 8pm Show at 9pm.
